Using Mind Power to Create Your Life. http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog Just another WordPress weblog Wed, 20 May 2009 09:25:45 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.5 en Top Ten Techniques for Relaxation Bliss! http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=16 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=16#comments Wed, 20 May 2009 09:25:45 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=16  Copyright: Colin G Smith

As you know relaxation has many benefits for our body and mind. Relaxing helps to reduce stress and allows the good chemicals to flow more in the mind giving access to more clarity, creatively and resourcefulness.

Below then are ten techniques for relaxation bliss:
1. Part of you is Relaxed now
A. Close your eyes and become aware of where the most relaxed part of your body is?
B. Imagine spreading this feeling throughout your body, from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.
C. Enjoy cycling through these relaxing feelings by starting again at step A.
2. Slow Down the Internal Voice
We often stress ourselves with internal critical voices. A simple and effective way to reduce the suffering caused by inner voices is to slow them down.
A. Pick one of those critical internal voices that annoy you from time to time.
B. Notice it’s location in space and what it says to you.
C. Now hear what it says again except this time slow it’s delivery down. Way down. Repeat the sentence and slow it down even more.
D. Do this a few times until it’s really slow and notice how you feel more relaxed!
3. Re-access Relaxation
A. Have you ever felt relaxed or at least at ease, maybe it was on a beach or in a beautiful woodland.
B. Re-access the peaceful state by remembering what you saw, what you heard and smelt and allow those relaxing feelings to arise again.
C. Just sit with those pleasant feelings for a few minutes, that’s right.
4. Relaxing music
A. Where do you want to be more relaxed? Notice what you see and hear just before you would want to feel a wave of relaxation. eg) The office door
B. If I were to ask you what some of your favourite relaxing music was what would it be?
C. Hear that relaxing music nice and clear inside your mind and allow those pleasant feelings to arise.
D. Now think of the trigger you choose in Step A and while hearing the music in your mind, imagine walking into the situation.
E. Do this a few times to ‘wire it in’ and you could even do this on a few other situations where relaxation would be useful.
5. Spinning the Movie Backwards
Our peace of mind can get disturbed by memories. Here is an excellent technique that enables us to neutralise negative emotions associated with troublesome memories.
A. Remember an occasion where you got annoyed. Maybe somebody made a remark that upset you a bit.
B. Imagine re-viewing it from beginning to end. Freeze-frame it at the end.
C. Pick some funny music. Cartoon? Circus music?
D. Now reverse the movie: That is play it backwards from the end to the beginning with the funny music playing.
When you play the movie backwards make it so it’s faster than normal reality because it adds to the humour!
6. A Walk in Nature
This one’s a simple and completely time-tested gold nugget.
Get yourself out into nature. It may just be a park in the City with some trees.
Observe nature. The sounds, the smells. Become curious at the wonder of it all.
Is it possible to be aware of all your senses at once?
7. Shapeshift into the Wind
A. Step outside and become aware of the wind.
B. As you notice it’s presence and shifting patterns, allow yourself to ’shapeshift’ into the wind. Simply imagine you have become one with the wind.
C. Close your eyes and indulge yourself in this moment now.
8. Imagining your more relaxed self
A. If you were more relaxed now what would that you look like out there in front. It’s OK if this you is only 5% more relaxed because this is about going in a relaxing direction isn’t it?
B. Notice what that you looks like, your posture, your breathing, your facial expression.
C. Now imagine stepping into that more relaxed you.
D. Repeat from step A.
9. Hakalau
This a really interesting technique that comes from Hawaiian Shamanism, Huna.
A. Look out in front of you at a 20 degree angle upwards. Become aware of objects/movements in the horizontal part of your peripheral vision.
B. Become aware of objects/movements in the vertical part of your peripheral vision. (eg your shoes and the sky.)
C. As you notice more and more of your peripheral vision allow it to spread out and around you so that you can imagine what is behind you too.
D. Now you can do this with your other senses. Spread your hearing out and around and then do the same with your kinaesthetics.
E. Stay in this state for several minutes and you will become very relaxed. This technique switches on your parasympathetic nervous system.
Try closing your eyes and doing it!
10. Simple Breathing Meditation
Meditating on the breath is probably the most widely used and ancient of practices for relaxing the mind. It’s very effective.
A. Sit down with your back straight.
B. Close your eyes and simply breath through your nostrils and out through your mouth.
C. Just observe the breath going in and out.
D. Try pausing for a second before the out breath, focussing on the heart centre.
Repeat for 10 minutes or more if you can!
When you practice techniques like the ones above and you find yourself gaining benefit, it will encourage you to develop a habit of relaxation. And the more you practice, the more you’ll enjoy becoming a relaxed person didn’t you.

How To Work With Beliefs To Change Your Life For The Better http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=15 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=15#comments Fri, 16 May 2008 13:28:46 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=15 By Alan Tutt
http://www.PowerKeysPub.com

There are 2 ways to work with beliefs in order to improve our
lives. The first of those is to work with the beliefs we already
have and use them to produce results.

The concept here is to use what we already believe in order to
produce changes. For instance, most of us believe that flipping
a switch on the wall will change the state of a light, either on
or off. We also believe that placing a key in the ignition of a
car and turning it will cause the engine to come to life. These
are beliefs that produce a result when we comply with them.

Forgiving others in order to be ‘forgiven’ ourselves is a belief
that works for those who truly believe in a God that punishes us
for our mistakes. Blessing others so that we may be blessed
ourselves is another belief that works for those who truly
believe in the process. However, if you have doubts whether this
works or not, then results will not be quickly forthcoming.

And that leads us to the other method of working with beliefs,
and that is to change what we believe will produce reliable
results.

You see, the universe is set up in such a way that our beliefs
are reflected in our experiences. If we believe that others are
critical and uncaring, then our experiences will reflect that
belief and we get hurt and become lonely. If we believe that
“the economy” is tight and money is hard to come by, then our
experiences will reflect that belief and we find out what it’s
like to be poor.

However, when we believe that our lives ARE blessed and that more
blessings are coming to us each and every day, then the universe
has a different image to present to us.

Think of the world around you as a movie screen, and the beliefs
you have within you comprise the film that is projected upon that
screen. As soon as your beliefs change, the image on the screen
changes to reflect the new beliefs.

But here again, knowing the cause of a problem and being able to
DO something about it are two different things. What we need is
a process that will automatically and naturally alter the beliefs
within us.

There are actually several processes that have been used over
time. One process is prayer - and this works when you believe it
does. Repeating affirmations about what we desire as being a
current reality is another process that works when you believe in
the process.

As you’ll find on my content site, I found a way to use
affirmations that doesn’t require that you believe in the
process, because the belief is CREATED by the process, or at
least transferred from one set of beliefs to another.

This process comes from NLP, and uses something called “pacing
and leading” statements. You start out ‘affirming’ things that
you already believe are true, such as “My name is _____. I live
on planet Earth. Two plus two equals four. I am having a hard
time right now.”

By pacing your current beliefs, you are gathering momentum that
will carry over into a new statement that immediately follows.
This ‘pacing’ affirmation picks up the belief that you already
have in the ‘leading’ affirmations. So one example of using this
process would be:

My name is _____. (pacing)
I live on planet Earth. (pacing)
2+2=4 (pacing)
I am having a hard time right now. (pacing)
But things are about to improve. (leading)

Four leading affirmations is a minimum, although you don’t need
any more than 6 or 7.

If you think about the ’strength’ of a belief as something that
can be measured on a scale, and you measure the strength of your
belief that life is about to improve for you before you start
this process, by the time you’ve said a few pacing affirmations
and then a single leading affirmation, and then repeated the
process a few times, you’ll notice that your level of belief in
the new statement is growing a little at a time, until you reach
a point where you accept the statement as fact.

This is where things really get interesting, because once your
inner mind accepts the new statement as fact, the universe has a
new belief to reflect back to you in your life. The net effect
is that life will begin to improve for you.

Obviously, this only touches the surface of things. We all have
thousands of different beliefs within us, and some beliefs will
counteract other beliefs. When you think about the ‘new’ leading
affirmation, some thoughts will come up that will refute it.
Take note of them, because they are showing you what you believe
on a deeper, inner level. These will be beliefs that you’ll want
to change to support your new desired experiences.

Another process that you can use that also helps to reshape our
beliefs is creative daydreaming. By spending some time
daydreaming about the life you want to live, your inner mind
becomes conditioned to the idea and will accept its possibility
more so than it did before. This is the basis for what has been
known as “creative visualization” although the visualization
itself doesn’t actually change anything, it’s the beliefs that
are affected that do the work after the visualization process is
finished.

You can take this process one step further and extend it out into
the world around you by ‘pretending’ that things are the way
you’d like them to be. As kids, we had a natural instinct to
pretend, and it does seem that this is a powerful process that
has the potential to change everything.

The bottom line is that the universe will reflect your beliefs in
the experiences you have. It’s as if our beliefs act as a magnet
to ‘attract’ related experiences to us. Once you alter your
beliefs, your experiences will change as well.

The Power of Repeated Words and Thoughts http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=13 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=13#comments Fri, 18 Apr 2008 11:51:37 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=13 by Remez Sasson
Thinking is usually a mixture of words, sentences, mental images and sensations. Thoughts are visitors, who visit the central station of the mind. They come, stay a while, and then disappear, making space for other thoughts. Some of these thoughts stay longer, gain power, and affect the life of the person thinking them.

It seems that most people let thoughts connected with worries, fears, anger or unhappiness occupy their mind most of the time. They keep engaging their mind with inner conversation about negative situations and actions. This inner conversation eventually affects the subconscious mind, making it accept and take seriously the thoughts and ideas expressed in those inner conversations.

It is of vital importance to be careful of what goes into the subconscious mind. Words and thoughts that are repeated often get stronger by the repetitions, sink into the subconscious mind and affect the behavior, actions and reactions of the person involved.

The subconscious mind regards the words and thoughts that get lodged inside it as expressing and describing a real situation, and therefore endeavors to align the words and thoughts with reality. It works diligently to make these words and thoughts a reality in the life of the person saying or thinking them.

This means that if you often tell yourself that it is difficult or impossible to acquire money, the subconscious mind will accept your words and put obstacles in your way. If you keep telling yourself that you are rich, it will find ways to bring you opportunities to get rich, and push you towards taking advantage of these opportunities.

The thoughts that you express through your words shape your life. This is often done unconsciously, as few pay attention to their thoughts and the words they use while thinking, and let outside circumstances and situations determine what they think about. In this case there is no freedom. Here, the outside world affects the inner world.

If you consciously choose the thoughts, phrases and words that you repeat in your mind, your life will start to change. You will begin creating new situations and circumstances. You will be using the power of affirmations.

Affirmations are sentences that are repeated often during the day, and which sink into the subconscious mind, thereby releasing its enormous power to materialize the intention of the words and phrases in the outside world. This does not mean that every word you utter will bring results. In order to trigger the subconscious mind into action, the words have to be said with attention, intention and with feeling.

In order to obtain positive results, affirmations have to be phrased in positive words. Look at the following two sentences:

1. I am not weak anymore.

2. I am strong and powerful.

Though both sentences seem to express the same idea, but in different words, the first one is a negative sentence. It creates in the mind a mental image of weakness. This is wrong wording. The second sentence awakens in the mind a mental image of strength.

It is not enough to say an affirmation a few times, and then expect your life to change. More than this is necessary. It is important to affirm with attention, as well as with strong desire, faith and persistence. It is also important to choose the right affirmation for any specific situation. You need to feel comfortable with it; otherwise the affirmation may not work or may bring you something that you do not really want.

Affirmations can be used together with creative visualization, to strengthen it, and they can be used separately, on their own. They are of special importance for people who find it difficult to visualize. In this case they serve as a substitution to creative visualization.

Instead of repeating negative and useless words and phrases in the mind, you can choose positive words and phrases to help you build the life you want. By choosing your thoughts and words you exercise control over your life.

Here are a few affirmations:

- Day by day I am becoming happier and more satisfied.

- With every inhalation I am filling myself with happiness.

- Love is filling my life now.

- The power of the Cosmos is filling my life with love.

- A lot of money is flowing now into my life.

- The power of the Universal Mind is now filling my life with wealth.

- The powerful and vital energy of the Cosmos is flowing and filling my body and mind.

- Healing energy is constantly filling every cell of my body.

- I always stay calm and in control of myself, in every situation and in all circumstances.

- I am having a wonderful, happy and fascinating day.

Unlocking The Power Of The Law Of Attraction http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=12 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=12#comments Thu, 17 Apr 2008 12:51:53 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=12 This year saw a massive renewed interest in the Law of Attraction. It is an ancient law that has been known by many different names. However, we the success of certain films like The Secret” and the increased ezposure of some personal development teachers this law is fast becoming a well known spiritual principle. But how many people really know how to use it? Do you know how to get results from it every time?

At its very basis that Law of Attraction states: You get more of what you focus on. But what does this really mean?

Many people believe the hype that by only using self improvement techniques like affirmations, visualization or tolls like hypnosis we can transform every area of their lives. They think that listening to one tape a day and doing no other internal work is enough to develop characteristics, skills and attributes that are needed to reach their goals. Visualization, affirmations, hypnosis and all manner of self improvement techniques and products are available to help us utilize the Law of Attraction more effectively. But many teachers are failing to teach people that in order to attain their desires they must become “at one” with their desire. The only way to do this is to become “conscious” of the thing we desire.

Let me explain.

Whatever you hold in your consciousness is manifested in your world. Tha’s the mechanism behind almost every self improvement technique. They are designed to expand your consciousness so that it reflects the very thing you are seeking. When I was much younger I believed that visualization alone was enough to manifest my desires. I had read all the books, listened to the seminars and had thousands of dollars worth of self improvement tapes,CDs and equipment. I believed that if i used these for forty-five minutes a day my life would transform and my desires would appear as if by magic. Needless to say 95% of the time it didn’t work!

Why?

This inability to attract what I wanted was in no way a failure on the part of the Law of Attraction, it was merely my own misunderstanding of the workings of this great Universal force. Many times when I visualized I felt in true alignment with my desire. However, throughout my day I would constantly notice that I didn’t have it. For 45 minutes I was conscious of my desire but for the rest of the time my consciousness was reflecting the lack of it!

This is due entirely to our feelings! It appears that our emotions, which are guided by our memories, throw up feelings that make us think in ways that are opposite to what we want. The law says you get more of what you focus on and in my previous example I was focused on the lack. My consciousness was not “at one” with my desire it was “at one” with the lack of it and the Law of Attraction responded with clinical efficiency and brought me more lack. In fact, in many cases, it increased the lack because you always get more of what you focus on. This in turn lead to frustration which lead to more negative emotions, which lead to more negative thoughts, which lead to more negative outcomes.

If you aren’t careful, setting a goal and pursuing it without the proper training can lead to worse circumstances than when you started!

So it is not just enough to visualize once or twice a day in order to utilize the Law of Attraction. You must change your consciousness and align it with the thing you want. In this way you will be automatically thinking in positive terms about your desire and attracting things, people and circumstances that will manifest that desire in your life – almost effortlessly.

So ok, this sounds pretty straight forward in theory but how do you do it?

Well, it starts with a shift in your focus and a bit of diligence from you. Firstly, you should use a technique like visualization, affirmations, hypnosis, meditation, binaural beats, or whatever your favourite tool is, to help you attract what you want. But the work should not finish there. You must become aware of how you are thinking about your desire during the rest of the day.

You can do this by being constantly aware of your feelings. Your feelings are reflecting back to you your consciousness. If you are thinking positively about your desire you will feel good. If you are thinking negatively you will feel bad. It really is that simple. By monitoring our emotions we can regulate our thoughts. By regulating our thoughts we can change our consciousness. Through altering our consciousness we in fact alter and mould the actual physical universe!

You will then begin to see things in your environment that reflect your new changing consciousness. You will begin to see people who have already attained your desire. If you want a new blue Z3 BMW car, you will begin to see a lot of them everywhere you go. In the past when this would happen to me I never saw it as the sign it is. Instead I became frustrated with the law, thinking that it wasn’t working correctly – “Where was MY BMW?” I didn’t want to ‘notice’ other people’s! As I began doing this my consciousness would slowly start to shift back into the feeling of lack and thus I would never attract the desire into my own life.

In later years as I began to understand the Law of Attraction at a deeper level and as I matured as a human being I realized that visualization alone wasn’t enough to secure my goals. I needed to create and MAINTAIN the feelings of having, or being “at one” with, my desire. Only then did I understand that seeing other people who had already attained that thing which I sought was a sign. The Universe was showing me that my consciousness was changing and becoming more aligned with my desire. The Law of Attraction was at work. It was attracting situations to me that reflected my desire and was actually bringing it into my life through other people. It was giving more things to focus on. The very physical Universe was changing to bring what I was imagining closer to me, first by seeing others with it but as I kept the thoughts and feelings of having it in my consciousness eventually it was me who had the desire!

So the key to getting the Law of Attraction to work all the time is to get into total alignment with your desire. You must take on the consciousness of the desire and become “one with it”. You do this by regulating your emotions every minute of the day. By ensuring you are always feeling good when you think about what you want you are in fact regulating your thoughts and in turn changing your own consciousness.

As you begin to notice other people who already have the very thing you want rejoice in it. Be grateful that they have already attained it. Be aware that one of the greatest laws of the Universe is working and that it’s working in your favour. These are signs that you are moving in the right direction. Feel joyful when you think of your goal and imagine how great it will be when you actually have it. This way you will change your consciousness and ultimately your world.

Subconscious Mind Power - 3 Vital Steps to Unleash It! http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=8 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=8#comments Tue, 08 Apr 2008 22:25:35 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=8 First, you must engulf yourself with the pictures, visual representations, or symbols of the things related to the things you want to accomplish. You may also surround yourself with objects that produce sounds that remind you of your goals. When you surround yourself with positive images or sounds, your subconscious mind will imprint those images or record those sounds in your head. You will be reminded of your goals often. The result will be a focused mind capable of blocking out distractions and manifesting your thoughts into reality.

Second, you must ask yourself the right positive and success-driven questions all the time. Too often, we ask questions like:

“Why am I always failing to achieve my goals in life?”

“How come I am stuck in this dead-end job, without any hope for career advancement?”

“Why can’t I have the same amount of creativity and intelligence as he is?”

“How can such unfortunate events be happening to me?”

“Why am I always running out of luck?”

Yikes! What stupid questions to ask yourself! Everyday, people keep on asking themselves endless negative questions. These people subject their minds to negative subconscious programming that impede their personality development and force them downward to the spiral of failure.

Their subconscious mind will always try to respond to such pessimistic questions, resulting in massive mental and emotional self-destruction.
The subconscious will come up with various explanations, reasons, and justifications to persuade them that they are goal setting failures, that they don’t deserve a great career, that they can’t be as lucky, creative, good looking, or rich as other people, even if all of these negative circumstances are untrue! They are only attracting negativity and failure to manifest in their reality.

Now my question to you is: Are you one of them? If yes, change your attitude and bad habits now! Most of all, ask questions that demand positive, success-driven answers.

When you ask a good question to the powerful subconscious, you will get a good answer! In fact, not only will you get a good answer; your subconscious may actually come up with an almost magical response/solution that may surprise you!

Ask your subconscious questions such as:
“What shall I read to improve my memory?”

“How can I overcome my shyness and enhance my relationships?”

“How can I have a strong and healthy body?”

“What can I do to earn $7,000 next month?”

“What must I do to get that promotion?”

Third, know your purpose. When you have a sufficient strong and intense purpose to accomplish your goals, your subconscious will always find a way to help you achieve them. This is power motivation at work! If you’re just satisfied with whatever life throws at you, not knowing the rationale behind what you’re doing, then you’ll have a much difficult time reaching your dreams.

And this is where the power of purpose comes to work. If you have a highly emotional purpose behind your actions, you will be more prompted to take inspired action and do whatever it takes to reach your destination. Always ask yourself, “Why am I doing this?” It’s either you have/find a satisfactory answer or change your agenda!

When I ask myself why I am determined to finish a project, I immediately have an answer, which may consist of any of the following:

1) I want to improve the lives of as many people as I can.
2) I want to go on a vacation to a specific country (using money earned from the project).
3) I want to donate to charity.
4) I love the feeling of being able to conquer any challenge and accomplish something worthwhile.

Now it’s my turn to ask you. What’s your purpose?

EFT and The Law of Attraction - A Perfect Match http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=7 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=7#comments Tue, 08 Apr 2008 22:21:24 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=7 By Dr. Carol Look, EFT Master

Part 1 of 2

You’ve written down your wish list, you know what you want and what date you want it by, and you’ve patiently been waiting for the “stuff” to fall into your lap. So where is it? What’s the missing piece, and why hasn’t it come to you yet? According to the popular philosophy of the Law of Attraction, you haven’t yet allowed it into your life. How do you allow it into your life? You relax, feel more joy, appreciate what you have and choose positive thoughts instead of dwelling on fear or scarcity. This raises your vibration. Your job is to raise your vibration.

How can you possibly focus on joy and appreciation when your life is full of pain, strife, angst or past memories that scare you? You use EFT! We’ve all done plenty of asking, plenty of telling the universe who and what we want in our lives. The missing piece is that we don’t know how to get out of our own way and open the door. Enter EFT.

LAW of ATTRACTION:

The Law of Attraction is ALWAYS working for us. For those of you who’ve seen The Secret, What the Bleep Do We Know, or been following the Abraham-Hicks work, (just to name a few) you know what the Law of Attraction is — the popular term to describe why we have what we have or experience in our lives. It means “like attracts like” no matter what. If you vibrate in fear, you will be delivered more experiences that cause fear. If you vibrate in a joyful place, you will bump into more experiences that bring you joy. Pretend your thoughts and vibrations are like slow moving boomerangs…they always come back to you.

RAISING YOUR VIBRATION:

The theory of this metaphysical “Law” of the Universe states that whatever we are feeling or vibrating (not what we are saying) is what is communicating our energetic “position” or posture to the Universe. The Universe then “hears” this vibration we are emitting, and then matches it by returning to us similar experiences to produce more of the same feeling and vibration. (This is why I have been obsessed with using the Gratitude List and Gratitude Walk that I talk about in my book. When I use these tools along with EFT, I immediately improve my vibration which in turn magnetizes into my life the desires I have been focused on.)

Many people misinterpret the principles behind the Law of Attraction, and think they can “fool” the Universe by pretending that they are joyful. This is not possible, as the Universe reads your vibration, not what you say or do.

The key points of this article are:

(1) The Law of Attraction is always operating

(2) The Universe “hears” your vibration/energy, not your words

(3) Knowing about this Law allows you to have more power in your life and feel/ be less of a victim

(4) You DO have control over your vibration if you make choices about your thoughts and focus

(5) EFT is one of the fastest and easiest ways to change your vibration

So when you use EFT to release any negativity and conflict in your energy system, you will naturally be vibrating in a more positive, uplifting space. Then the LAW of ATTRACTION, which is always working, will bring you more of the positive things that you have been asking for. It’s a perfect match.

Think about all the pieces of EFT — (1) choosing a specific problem, (2) affirming that you deeply and completely love and accept yourself no matter what, and (3) tapping on the points in your energy system and relieving the stress, tension, and conflict that has been stored there. What a wonderful way to raise your vibration!

What do you want to attract in your life? Professional success, money, love, friendships, joy, peace, spiritual depth, happiness? It’s all available, but you need to know how to control your “vibration” which is in direct communication with the Universe. We need to use the Law of Attraction to our advantage since it’s working 24 hours a day for us anyway.

In his recently released serious diseases DVD series, Gary Craig described how the hurtful or traumatic events in our lives drain and reduce the effectiveness of our immune system over time. This makes perfect common sense. When we have negative feelings and don’t find ways to relieve or express them, we eventually run our immune systems down and we end up in a compromised physiological place. Then we are a favorable “host” for the flu bug or cold virus circulating in our environment. The same is true for our vibration. When we run ourselves down by focusing on negative thoughts, painful experiences, or upsetting what if’s, we lower our vibration which the Universe then answers. (Remember the image of a slow moving boomerang…)

RESPONSIBILITY:

Using the theory behind the Law of Attraction is NOT a system of blame! It is an explanation of responsibility and an opportunity to take back control of your life and stop being a victim. We have all attracted negative things into our lives from time to time, some more than others. When people argue, “but I didn’t want that bad thing to happen…” you can bet that at some point, and definitely over time, they were inadvertently focusing on negativity, resentment, and probably fear. We all do it, we all attract negative things into our lives, and we are all afraid much of the time…it comes with being human. However, we have many more tools at our disposal now to reduce the fear, transform the powerlessness, and increase our genuine joy. It’s an individual decision whether we want to pick up and practice using these tools or not.

PATIENCE:

It is also important to note that the Law of Attraction mechanism is carried out by the Universe in a “big picture way.” You don’t have a resentful or fearful thought at 10:00 in the morning, and get a flat tire at noon. It’s about your overall vibration on particular subjects, your accumulated vibration, and this is something you can change and influence in a very short period of time. So consider being patient, believing that what you want is on its way to you, and work on raising your overall vibration.

Everyone oversimplifies the issue and manages to turn it around again into victimhood. Why did the universe send this to me??? They ask…Because they were pulsing, vibrating, communicating that same level of vibration that was returned to them, on some subtle level in their energy system by focusing on resentment, pain, hurt, anger or feeling powerless. We all do it, we all have done it, and we all will continue to do it in our lives. But now we can choose to do it less, relieve the feelings, take back our power, and harness the incredible power of the Law of Attraction. Remember, this “law” works as often and as predictably as gravity, so it’s up to you what targets you want to offer it. The Law of Attraction has perfect aim.

“I wouldn’t have asked for the flu” you protest… No, you wouldn’t have and neither did I last winter, but I did communicate resistance, tension, fear, and irritation for a long time before I weakened my immune system enough to allow myself to react to the flu bug. In other words, I had to be ready, or a favorable “host” for it. (I also still “expect” to get sick at some point in the winter…another vibration I can work on changing.)

Remember, WE ALL DO IT. If any of you are hearing blame, you are not hearing me and what I am saying in this article. We all use the Law of Attraction in our daily life, why not use it for our benefit, rather than to hurt us or slow our progress down?

GRATITUDE:

If you want more in your life to be grateful for, focus on the appreciation you already feel for what and who you have in your life. Try the gratitude list or gratitude walk I talk about in my newsletters, or my gratitude tapping sequences from other articles. This all you need to attract outrageous success and abundance into your life: (1) Law of Attraction, (2) EFT, and (3) An Attitude of Gratitude.

Try a marathon of gratitude tapping and measure how you feel afterwards, and what tail-enders surface. Start by addressing the genuine mood or feeling state you feel right now, then move into appreciation and gratitude.

Karate chop point: Even though I feel a little down right now, I choose to focus on positive emotions…Even though I don’t feel very positive right now, I accept who I am and how I feel…Even though I’m wallowing in self-pity right now, I accept all of me and how I feel.

EYEBROW: I’m always afraid of what might happen

SIDE OF EYE: What if something bad happens to me?

UNDER EYE: I feel the fear in my vibration every day

NOSE: I can feel the fear no matter what I do

CHIN: I don’t feel safe unless I’m feeling worried

COLLARBONE: I’m afraid to let go of my fear

Part 2 of 2

As a refresher, the following is from part 1 of this series:

The key points of this article are:

(1) The Law of Attraction is always operating

(2) The Universe “hears” your vibration/energy, not your words

(3) Knowing about this “Law” allows you to have more power in your life and feel and be less of a victim

(4) You DO have control over your vibration if you make choices about your thoughts and focus

(5) EFT is one of the fastest and easiest ways to change your vibration

Using EFT and LOA TOGETHER:

So the million dollar question I answer a dozen times a week through emails, and hundreds of times in my Law of Attraction workshops is …But EFT makes you focus on the negative, won’t that make you attract more negativity into your life and make things worse?

Good question. I have studied, experimented, pondered and come to the conclusion that the answer is a resounding “NO.” After 10 years of doing EFT, I can safely say that my personal and professional experiments have determined that EFT and the Law of Attraction are a perfect match.

We need to STOP TRYING TO RESIST OUR REAL FEELINGS. EFT allows us to name them, feel them, and release them. Once this step is done, you are in a vibrational position to allow into your life (or magnetize) what you want.

When we use EFT and target an emotion (what I call the truth) you have pinpointed the feeling that is causing your vibration anyway… you are already feeling that way, so why not call it what it is? EFT is effective in direct proportion to the “truth” you are able to tell and the bullseyes you are able to hit. So instead of saying “I’m upset with her” I recommend you say words that more deeply resonate with the truth: I feel enraged at what she did and it wasn’t fair. This allows you get more of a “hit” and more of a positive result with EFT as you have nailed it on the head. EFT is the fastest tool I have ever come across to identify, address and clear an issue and find immediate relief. The event itself doesn’t change, but your experience, memory, and perception of it and emotions about it change. What more could we ask for?

And when you feel relief, the Law of Attraction is “listening” and allows into your life (by sending you) more of what you were asking for, whether it is relationships, money, opportunities or clients.

FEELING vs. PRETENDING:

When the real feeling (the one you’ve been trying to hide in your daily life) is finally addressed with EFT and soothed in your thoughts, mind, and body, you free yourself to vibrate in a more grateful, peaceful, joyful place, to which Law of Attraction then responds and adds more joy and more reasons for gratitude.

Consider this…

(1) People think that just because they’re pretending they don’t hate their boss, that they’re not exuding anger or vibrating negativity and resistance. Humans are very transparent, so our feelings “show.”

(2) People think a few seconds of EFT where they focus on a “negative” feeling is an eternity. They ignore the fact that they have spent 23 hours pushing hard against a feeling of fear, then worry about a few seconds of EFT. When they are asked to focus on the negative feelings, there is a direct connection to their vibration. This allows the deep feeling to finally be relieved. It’s very quick…there is no wallowing in EFT…

(3) EFT allows you to clear the decks which makes space for peace and joy in your life.

So once again, it’s all about relief. Even saying well-formed setup phrases allow people to feel more joyful and relaxed.

When you feel relieved, the “stuff” you have “asked for” receives an invitation to show up for you, through many unusual channels. When you use EFT to get relief, you instantly vibrate in a better place, and voila, the manifestations start to appear. What stuff? Relationships, money, career opportunities, love, peace, coincidences, guidance, serendipity etc., you name it. I have actually had to stop some of my own “experiments” as I haven’t quite caught up yet with what I am receiving.

So stop pretending you aren’t hurt by what happened. Stop pretending that you’ve forgiven everyone when the truth is you’re seething mad inside. The Universe hears your vibration, not your words. Use EFT to target the feelings and release them once and for all, and allow peace into your life.

Once you have cleared the negativity with EFT, you can be assured you have opened the door a little more to let into your life whatever you have been asking for, writing about, and visualizing.

Karate chop point:

Even though I have been too embarrassed to admit my hurt, I accept who I am and how hurt I really was by him…Even though I didn’t want to admit I was hurt, so I pretended I wasn’t, I choose to express it now…Even though I felt devastated, I accept who I am and how I feel about it.

EYEBROW: I was so hurt by what happened

SIDE OF EYE: I’ve been pretending I wasn’t hurt

UNDER EYE:I’ve been so hurt all along

NOSE: I thought I was supposed to forgive him

CHIN: But I wasn’t ready

COLLARBONE: I still feel hurt

UNDER ARM: I feel hurt by what happened

HEAD: I need to admit my hurt

EYEBROW: I was deeply hurt and couldn’t get over it

SIDE OF EYE: I kept trying not to be hurt

UNDER EYE: It feels so good to say it out loud

NOSE: The truth is I’ve never gotten over it

CHIN: It feels so good to admit the truth

COLLARBONE: I can finally say it out loud

UNDER ARM: I’m ready to release it

HEAD: It’s time to release the hurt after all these years.

Using EFT in this way allows you to release the real pain instead of spending all that energy trying not to feel hurt! Now you will be in an emotional and energetic position to feel more grateful and allow yourself to feel relief and joy.

FEAR:

Fear definitely keeps you in a lower vibration and delays the magnetization of what you want. I find that EFT is the easiest way to relieve this feeling and change your focus. Remember, when you change your focus, you vibrate in a different place, and attract different (more positive) things into your life.

A client of mine was very afraid of her negative thoughts but she spent most of her waking hours using tricks and affirmations to try and help her push away the fear and push away these thoughts. This always backfires, as she spent all her energy actually focused on the negativity rather than on something positive by trying so hard NOT to think about these feelings. This of course means she was ultimately focused on her fears anyway, as all her waking hours were spent trying not to be fearful!

(You might want to try and substitute “I’m afraid of my negative thoughts” for the sentences below if you related to the above story.)

Karate chop point: Even though I’m deeply afraid of what might happen, I accept who I am and how I feel…Even though I live with these fears every day, I am willing to consider relieving them now…Even though I’m afraid not to feel fear, I accept who I am and how I feel.

UNDER ARM: I don’t know how to feel any other way

HEAD: What if I can’t let go of my fear?

Now that you have voiced the real feelings, you are able to gently guide the client and can make the easy transition into more positive statements and vibrations. If the client objects to “positive” statements, they will hear “tail-enders” surface such as “no I’m not” or “that’s not true” or something that counters the positive statements. This is good news! You now have more information and targets for tapping. When their tail-enders surface, be happy you are getting to the core issues! But try a positive round first to see where it lands.

EYEBROW: I will consider letting go if my fear

SIDE OF EYE: I’m afraid to let go of my fear

UNDER EYE: I intend to be freer and lighter

NOSE: I love feeling peaceful more often

CHIN: I’m ready to let go of my fear

COLLARBONE: I love feeling grateful about my life

UNDER ARM: There is so much to feel grateful for

HEAD: I appreciate who I am and how I am living

POWERLESSNESS:

Of course the feeling of powerlessness is overwhelming and lowers our vibration immediately. Usually it is perceived powerlessness, rather than actual powerlessness, but it doesn’t matter, it’s the feeling that counts, not the reality of the situation! For those of us who suffer from feelings of powerlessness, we need to find ways to feel more powerful, and using EFT is a wonderful tool.

Karate chop point: Even though I have no control in this situation, and it makes me anxious, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway…Even though I feel powerless, AGAIN, I choose to feel calm and peaceful…Even though I feel out of control and powerless, I love and accept all of me anyway.

EYEBROW: I feel powerless

SIDE OF EYE: I feel out of control

UNDER EYE: I hate feeling powerless

NOSE: I want more control

CHIN: I’m afraid of what might happen

COLLARBONE:I’m afraid of not having control

UNDER ARM: I want to feel more power in my life

HEAD: I don’t want to feel so weak

EYEBROW: I still feel powerless

SIDE OF EYE: I want to feel strong

UNDER EYE: I hate feeling weak and powerless

NOSE: I hate feeling so down about it all

CHIN: I want to feel better

COLLARBONE: I still feel powerless

UNDER ARM: I want to feel better

HEAD: I will consider feeling better

Now you and your clients are in a position to take in the gratitude tapping:

EYEBROW: I love appreciating who I am

SIDE OF EYE: I love receiving what I want

UNDER EYE: I am so grateful for my life

NOSE: I appreciate all my feelings

CHIN: I feel better already

COLLARBONE: I love feeling so confident and strong

UNDER ARM: I love the clarity in my life

HEAD: I appreciate the guidance I am receiving

In closing, ask yourself how quickly you want to manifest more of your desires, small and large. If you are eager to manifest them sooner rather than later, I highly recommend using EFT to clear the blocks and neutralize the limiting beliefs. This will allow all that you have been asking for to come in your front door. Remember, the Law of Attraction is always working, but with EFT, we help it work for us and not against us.

Would you like to try a technique that enables you to easily change feelings that somehow block you from feeling how you would prefer to feel? http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=6 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=6#comments Tue, 08 Apr 2008 21:52:14 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=6 Magical Colour Beams © Colin G Smith http://www.nlptoolbox.com

This is a new technique that enables you to easily change feelings that somehow block you from feeling how you would prefer to feel.

You can use ‘Magical Colour Beams’ on all kinds of feelings, including fears, frustrations, lack of motivation etc.

As it utilises both the conscious and unconscious parts of your mind you may be pleasantly surprised how powerful a
change this procedure can create for you today.

So go ahead and make a wonderful change for yourself.

Printing out the following step-by-step outline will make it even easier for you.

Magical Colour Beams © Colin G Smith

http://www.nlptoolbox.com

1.Pick a feeling you want to change.

2.Represent this feeling as a colour and imagine sending it out of your 3rd eye (just above your nose between the eyes)
as a colour beam of light. Have this beam go all the way over to the wall tilted upwards at a 20 degree angle. Spin the colour beam clockwise.

3.What resource states do you need to add to change the feeling from Step 1? Give each resource state a colour.

4.Now imagine each of these ‘resource colours’ as beams coming out of your 3rd eye blending and merging with each other including the first one. Keep them spinning clockwise.

5.Physically stick your hand in the spinning beams and notice how it feels. Do you need to add any other resources?

6.Remember times this resource state would have been useful. See YOURSELF in the memories as you place them onto the colour beams rather like a slide or photograph.

7.Think of future events this resource state would be useful. Place these memory pictures onto the colour beams.

8.Now looking at all the pictures on the colour beams up to the wall, notice how the beams are spinning and ‘colourizing’ all of the pictures.

9.Maybe you can imagine the colourful energy bouncing off the wall, back through all the pictures and into your 3rd eye. Bounce this energy back and forth a few times!

10.Break state.

11.Think about an event from the past or future where you would have had the feeling from Step 1 and notice the change.

Well I hope you enjoyed that exercise and made some useful changes. It’s just one of many new tools added to the recently updated ‘NLP ToolBox.’

Power Breathing http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=5 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=5#comments Tue, 08 Apr 2008 21:31:36 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=5 by Alan Tutt

How would you like a technique that will increase your mental and
physical performance? With the technique I am about to share
with you, you will be able to clear your mind, increase your
intelligence, restore your energy, and increase your physical
strength. This is also a technique that you can use any time,
anywhere you happen to be, without drawing attention to yourself.

I’m talking about ‘Power Breathing’. The fundamental concept
behind Power Breathing is very old, so it’s possible that you’ve
seen a variation of it in other places. One thing that I’ve
found is that some descriptions of the process are so vague or
misleading that you end up doing it wrong and get none of the
benefits that Power Breathing can give you.

In Power Breathing, you hold an image in your mind while
breathing slightly different from normal. Let’s cover the
mechanics of Power Breathing first, since that is the simplest
component of the technique. In normal breathing, you usually use
only about 1/3 of the capacity of your lungs. During exercise or
other physical exertion, you will use more of your lung capacity,
but you breath faster to get more oxygen to your muscles. In
Power Breathing, you want to breath deeply, but slowly.

One way to control the tempo is to count. Breath in for a count
of 5, then hold it for a count of 3. Breath out for a count of
7, then hold it for a count of 3. When holding, don’t close your
throat as this will create unnecessary tension. Use the same
muscle you use to breath in and out, but hold it in place. Just
pause the in and out motion of air. Try it now and get the
feeling of the tempo. Practice it several times until it feels
natural and easy.

One of the easiest ways to direct Power is to imagine that it is
carried by the air you breath. As you breath in, you are
bringing Power into your being, and as you breath out, you are
sending Power away from you. Your thoughts and feelings will
condition the Power while it is inside of you.

Using this image, if you imagine that Power is energizing your
body while you are breathing in, then Power is being directed to
energize your body. If you imagine that Power is cleansing your
mind and emotions while you are breathing out, then Power is
being directed to eliminate any tensions and negativity from your
mind and emotional nature. And if you combine the two images,
then Power is being directed towards both goals with a phenomenal
result!

There are many uses for Power Breathing, but this is perhaps the
most useful. Another use for Power Breathing is for healing. If
you imagine that the air you are breathing in is bringing healing
energies to whatever part of you is less than perfect, then you
will be directing Power to heal that part of you. Make sure that
you also include the image of any negativity or infection being
eliminated from your body as you are breathing out.

It is also possible to “breathe in money” and “breathe out
poverty”. Or you could “breathe in love” and “breathe out
loneliness”. The possibilities are endless!

Change your inner dialogues to change your life http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=3 http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=3#comments Sun, 30 Mar 2008 20:50:17 +0000 rich http://www.treasuretreat.com/blog/?p=3 The Law of Attraction makes more and more sense to me. I understand more and more that thoughts create our reality. But is it easy to change what we think?

Our mind never stops thinking. Our inner dialogue carries on all day long whatever we are doing. That internal conversation never stops – making judgements, expressing opinions, planning, criticising, praising, gossiping, imagining conversations with people, imagining future experiences and revisiting old ones.

But as this is going on are we aware of it? Are we aware of what we are thinking? And if so, do we realise how it affects us?

I suspect that with most of the inner dialogue is so constant we don’t even have time to take stock of what is going on. It simply happens. The thoughts bombard our brains and rush by without us even being aware of where they came from and where they are going to - and without us understanding the power they exert over our lives, for better or for worse. The inner dialogue is the tool we use knowingly or unknowingly to communicate with the unconscious part of our brain.

These inner dialogues often are loaded with strong emotion which consequently has adverse effect on our behaviour, attitudes and beliefs. The dialogues are often repeated reinforcing the impact of the message and the emotion on the subconscious mind which can only accept and act upon what it receives.

What we have to do is listen to our internal dialogue. What is going on? Is it negative or positive? Is it loaded with negative or positive emotion? Can you see a link between what you are thinking and feeling and what you are experience in your day to day existence?

The next stage is then to take control of your thoughts …

If we can handle these two stages we can change our life. By monitoring and changing the direction and nature of our thoughts we can monitor and change the direction in which our lives take us

Start to tune in and listen to what you are thinking. If you don’t like it; change it. Use the following steps to help turn these inner dialogues to your advantage.

1) Listen to your thoughts.
What are you saying to yourself? Are you being hard on yourself? Are you dragging yourself down? If so, how does your life look to you right now? See the link? By listening to and watching your torrent of thoughts gives you a chance to see it happening from the bank rather than being swept along by the torrent.

2) Become the gatekeeper. If you don’t like what you hear stop the thought in its tracks. Replace it with a positive thought or statement. Our inner dialogues are like tapes which we play again and again. If the tape that you hear is not to your liking replace it with something more positive, enjoyable and useful.

3) Have a good talk with your self. Have a ‘question and answer’ format in the beginning.
It is important that:
• Questions must not be ambiguous.
• Seek guidance, not answers
• Seek clarity, not to set traps
Do not judge anything, but do take note of your feelings about what you are ‘hearing.’ Remember, you are listening now; do not get caught up in any defensiveness and do not allow yourself to structure any further questions. Just write exactly what you receive.
To recognize how ‘accurate’ what you receive is you can ask a simple question . Upon receiving any message, simply ask, ‘How accurate is this?’ You should very quickly receive a percentage rating.
If not, take a deep breath and ask again. As you exhale, you will recieve a percentage. Consider anything better than 90% to be generally accurate. However, the closer you are to 100%, the better. It is very important to be completely honest with these ratings. You will learn nothing useful by convincing yourself that you are communicating more clearly than you are.

4) Journal writing
As you work with your Journal, you will learn to tap this inner part of you and understand a lot more about yourself. You will be surprised how many negative or positive beliefs you have by pouring out all your inner dialogues on paper.

5) Meditation
Meditation is a means by which you can interrupt and stop the internal dialogue altogether for as long as you are meditating. Meditation gives the mind a break.
Transcendental Meditation, for example, is a method involving the repetition of a word in the form of a mantra. The effect of this repetition is to silence the thoughts.
You will find that your senses become more aware and that your mind is sharper and more perceptive without all the unneeded inner dialogue.
